New Stockist!

Exciting news friends! I have a new stockist! Yay!!!

You can now find House of Nicnax owls and woodland friends as part of the Co-Op Designs shop (located within MANY6160 Fremantle)

This is their opening weekend so to celebrate they are having a 10-40% off everything sale!

I was in first thing this morning to set up – and I must say – I LOVE the look they have gone with! I love all the wood displays (all handmade by one of the girls dads) and there was already some really quirky and unique handmade items just waiting to find their new homes!

So if your heading to Freo anytime soon – pop in and see the girls and check out all the amazing handmade goodies that Co-op Designs has to offer!

Showcase! (My first!)

So things have been a little crazy around here recently, especially seeing as Mothers Day creeping up on us rather quickly!

And what do I do when things get crazy?? Well the answer is simple – I add to the crazi-ness by joining in my first Facebook Showcase!

So I joined a lovely group of ladies from the Collective Artisans. And I made a beautiful pink owl for the Sugar And Spice Showcase.

The showcase opened this morning – and it has sold already! I’m so excited!

I definitely recommend you pop over and have a little look at what else is on offer – as there is some amazing handmade items there. And tomorrow morning their second showcase will open. That one is themed – Frogs and Snails and Puppy Dog Tails!

I didn’t enter into the second one as I wasn’t sure how I’d go. Now I wish I did!

Markets!!

Hi! How’s your weekend going? Mine has been busy, busy as today was my last market for the year….

All week I have been sewing like a crazy lady in preparation – and it paid off as I sold out!! Yay!!! (Big thanks to all of you who came by and saw me!)

I was at UWA (University of WA) for the Perth Upmarket today.

This is honestly one of my most favourite markets! It is full of so many amazing handmade goodies. I’m a little glad I was so busy – as I may have spent wayyyyy to much if I had an opportunity to shop! I did, however enjoy some delicious salted caramel fudge from Golden Whisk!

So what am I going to do for the rest of the year now – I hear you ask? Well this week I will be adding some more doorstops to my Etsy Store as well as starting work on a whole heap of handmade Chrissy gifts!

A little while back I told you how I was participating in #makeforgood – a collaboration between Etsy Makers and Plan International.

Well guess what???? My owl doorstop sold! Yay!!!!

Angove Street Festival

Markets, markets, markets! I love the whole market scene. Especially Festivals. This past Sunday I attended the Angove Street Festival in North Perth.

It was so busy! Such a huge crowd. I wanted to get out and about and take lots of great photos to try to capture the atmosphere, but honestly, I was so busy selling my stuff – that I couldn’t! Now, don’t get me wrong – I LOVE the fact that I was busy and selling, I just would have liked a couple more photos!

Market Days – Made On The Left

I’m not sure if any other state feels as left out as Western Australia. Being on the left of the country we seem to feel as if we are our own country sometimes. The right hand side of Australia always gets the good stuff – and little old us miss out.
Well that’s not the case anymore! Slowly but surely Perth is picking up it’s game and we are having some really awesome events!
