Hello! This weekend you will be able to find House of Nicnax at the opening of the new Stockland Harridale Shopping centre.
I will be taking part in a mini- market to celebrate the opening of the centre!
Here’s where you will find me this Sunday! At the Perth Makers Market in Applecross! This is a new market that only just launched back in February.
This month I will be joined by over 90 other amazing handmade stalls.
It will also be the final day for the City of Melville Sculpture Walk. I’m looking forward to taking 5 minutes out to have a wander! Hope to see you there!

This is my second year doing the Angelo Street Festival. Last year was awesome! If your free on Sunday, (and your in Perth, WA) why not come by and check it out!
See you there!

I just wanted to say a huge thankyou to everybody who came out yesterday and today to visit me at both the Heron Park markets, and the Perth Makers Market.
It has certainly been a very HOT weekend, so it means a lot to all us handmaidens that you all braved the heat to come and support us!
Thanks again! (And don’t forget to head over and like my Facebook page to keep up-to-date with where me and my owls are going to be!)

Calling all people of Perth (Australia)!!!
You may or may not have read recently that I am going to be attending a new market that is starting up in Perth on February 7th. It’s called the Perth Makers Market and features over 70 local handmade crafters.
As the launch of a new market is always special, Erin, the co-ordinator, has put together an a-maz-ing competition! The prize is valued at over $450!! (and includes one of my owls!!)
So if your in Perth (you must be able to collect your prize on the day) head over to the Perth Makers Market Facebook page and enter the comp! AND if your on Instagram, head over to their Insta page, as there is another comp running through that too!
And even if you don’t win, (which I have my fingers crossed that you do win) come visit me and the other awesome stall holders on the day. It’ll be a great day, and you can get your hands on some really unique pieces!
Thanks for stopping by…and good luck!

With less than a month to go until Valentines Day, I been busy making some ‘Love” themed owls!
These three are available to purchase at the E-Shed Market in Fremantle (at Glow Wiks Candle Store) and I also have some available in my Etsy Shop.
And if your thinking about getting stuck into some Valentines Crafts, be sure to pop back over the next few weeks, as I’m planning to share some lovely love crafts!
Thanks for stopping by!

Hi! How’s your weekend going? Mine has been busy, busy as today was my last market for the year….
All week I have been sewing like a crazy lady in preparation – and it paid off as I sold out!! Yay!!! (Big thanks to all of you who came by and saw me!)
I was at UWA (University of WA) for the Perth Upmarket today.
This is honestly one of my most favourite markets! It is full of so many amazing handmade goodies. I’m a little glad I was so busy – as I may have spent wayyyyy to much if I had an opportunity to shop! I did, however enjoy some delicious salted caramel fudge from Golden Whisk!
So what am I going to do for the rest of the year now – I hear you ask? Well this week I will be adding some more doorstops to my Etsy Store as well as starting work on a whole heap of handmade Chrissy gifts!
So stay tuned to see my creations!
Thanks for stopping by!
And Happy Crafting!
Markets, markets, markets! I love the whole market scene. Especially Festivals. This past Sunday I attended the Angove Street Festival in North Perth.
It was so busy! Such a huge crowd. I wanted to get out and about and take lots of great photos to try to capture the atmosphere, but honestly, I was so busy selling my stuff – that I couldn’t! Now, don’t get me wrong – I LOVE the fact that I was busy and selling, I just would have liked a couple more photos! Continue reading
On Sunday I had a different kind of market experience. As you know, markets for me are usually of the handmade / craft variety. Sunday, though, I attended a swap meet (car boot style).
The two weeks or so prior, I had made the decision to get my house organised and clear out all the junk that somehow keeps appearing. I usually like to clear out every 6 months or so, and get rid of all the clothes the kids have out grown, along with old toys etc. I usually pass things on to other mums at school, or drop the things off to the op-shop. But this time, I thought I’d try to make a bit extra cash for our up-coming holiday. Continue reading
Last week I wrote a post about attending the Perth Upmarket.
I didn’t tell you what I bought! I must say, of all the markets I’ve been too, and all the purchases I’ve made – This is one of my absolute favourites!
This amazing crochet cactus is by ZoZo and Fro.
She is one clever lady! I actually discovered Zoe’s work about a year ago – I think just from randomly scrolling through Instagram. I immediately fell in love – and knew that I had to own one!
I purchased one straight away as a gift for my mum. I bought her a grass tree.
Every time I visit mum’s house, I see the grass tree and I always tell myself that I need to get one!
So when I saw ZoZo and Fro was at the Perth Upmarket – I was super excited! This one stood out to me pretty much straight away. I think it looks so happy, and like it’s doing a funky cactus dance.
How awesome is it!! I’m so glad I spoilt myself with this purchase!
When was the last time you spoilt yourself? What did you buy?
