This Sunday you will find House of Nicnax at the Perth Makers Market in Applecross from 9.30-3.30!
Here’s where you will find me this Sunday! At the Perth Makers Market in Applecross! This is a new market that only just launched back in February.
This month I will be joined by over 90 other amazing handmade stalls.
It will also be the final day for the City of Melville Sculpture Walk. I’m looking forward to taking 5 minutes out to have a wander! Hope to see you there!

I just wanted to say a huge thankyou to everybody who came out yesterday and today to visit me at both the Heron Park markets, and the Perth Makers Market.
It has certainly been a very HOT weekend, so it means a lot to all us handmaidens that you all braved the heat to come and support us!

Hi! How’s your weekend going? Mine has been busy, busy as today was my last market for the year….
All week I have been sewing like a crazy lady in preparation – and it paid off as I sold out!! Yay!!! (Big thanks to all of you who came by and saw me!)
I was at UWA (University of WA) for the Perth Upmarket today.
This is honestly one of my most favourite markets! It is full of so many amazing handmade goodies. I’m a little glad I was so busy – as I may have spent wayyyyy to much if I had an opportunity to shop! I did, however enjoy some delicious salted caramel fudge from Golden Whisk!
So what am I going to do for the rest of the year now – I hear you ask? Well this week I will be adding some more doorstops to my Etsy Store as well as starting work on a whole heap of handmade Chrissy gifts!

Concrete pots are HUGE at the moment! And I am a massive fan!
These little cuties are from Zindi Pots. I first discovered Zindi Pots at the Perth Upmarket and I have been in love ever since! My collection started with a little round bottomed pot – and now I have these ones!!
I took advantage of the lovely spring weather we had the other day to pot these lovelies up with some succulent cuttings.
I don’t have the greenest of thumbs – even though I try really had! So I’m hoping these little babies grow!
What do you think? Have you been bitten by the concrete pot bug? Do you love them as much as me?
I’m not sure if any other state feels as left out as Western Australia. Being on the left of the country we seem to feel as if we are our own country sometimes. The right hand side of Australia always gets the good stuff – and little old us miss out.
